Goal Progress
To follow up on my most recent goal post:
1. Feel better – making progress. I’ve been flipping through the book You can heal your life by Louise Hay. Thinking positively has made me feel better mentally and even physically. And I’ve gone to yoga twice in the past month.
2. Keeping track of progress – making progress. I made a shorthand chart and am entering it in my journal once every week or two.
3. Piano playing – no progress. Since we’re moving soon, I’m waiting until after we both secure jobs and settle in, and then I intend to find a weekly teacher.
4. Paying off the bills – also deferred until after the move. But the move should stimulate extra income, so I wouldn’t call this a negative, more a nil.
5. Moving – HUGE PROGRESS! We signed the official move-out notice, so there’s no turning back now!
6. Get our own house – progress, since we’re moving into the area where we want to stay. But we want to live there awhile first and make sure it’s where we’re going to settle.
7. Get a new job – progress, as I will be forced into it. More progress to come this weekend as I hone in on the search.
Currently my short-term goals are (1) finish up my Savannah application, which I am going to complete this weekend, and (2) look for jobs and housing over the weekend. Then (3) is packing! I can’t wait to see all the changes the move is going to bring… not to mention the mountains!
