Flower Scooter Decals

These Buddy decals were so popular that I started selling scooter decals and bumper stickers at Scooter-Prints.com. (I closed the business in June 2010 because I just didn’t have time anymore.)

We didn’t just fish and scoot all weekend, either. I made up some reflective decals (the boss being thankful that Hubby fixed his $12,000 printer and all, he was more than happy to let me play with the vinyl he had on hand) and went crazy.

Last but not least, a closeup of the front, with that bright shiny reflective vinyl which is not only pretty but great for safety:

I think I liked the front better when I was halfway done and it was a little less busy, but I’ve decided it’s a nice try for a first-time deal. I’ve decided I want to upgrade to a 125 or 150cc scooter, and this will probably up the resale value quite a bit.

And I’ve just discovered the ’08 Buddy comes in a beautiful two-tone French blue… with a 150cc engine in the exact same convenient compact chick-bike size.

I think you can tell I want the little beauty…

Hubby had me put Flash Gordon logos on his helmet as well, but since he’s also planning to upgrade to a bigger scooter he had me hold off on his scooter decals. I’m not sure what type of design he’ll want, but when he gets the new scoot and decides, I’ll go crazy again and show ya.

    ALL those decals look terrible!

I’ll be selling hundreds of designs, so no one will be forced to buy this one style. Not sure what you mean by “all” since they are all the same pattern.

Love the decals. I just purchased a red scooter and am looking for similar type decals. Any advise on any particular website that sells them?

(update) I used to sell these. I started with 11 other designs to choose from, worked my way up to 25, and at that point life became so busy I didn’t have time to fulfill the orders anymore so I had to shut down the business. You can find similar decals on Etsy or at local sign shops.

This is the good news for all who like to ride electric scooters. A scooter is great way to save gas nowadays and you’ll start seeing more and more on the road. Demand is going up, so get yours today before the price skyrockets! A 150cc scooter will go up to 60 MPH and allow you to go on the interstate. We have 150cc motor scooters in many different styles and colors. These scooters are a great alternative to high gas prices; not to mention a blast to ride! Many of them get up to 80 miles per gallon, and can reach speeds in excess of 60 miles per hour. So find a scooter that catches your eye.

I love, love, love your scooter decals. I just purchased a Rose bowel 2009 Honda Metropolitan in ghost and brown. Would love to have something to jazz it up. You are great. I am thinking sunflowers? Would love to somehow get a little touch of pink? I am not that
visually creative. My helmet is dark pink. Any ideas? Are you still doing the scooter decal thing?

Hey Wendy – I wish I were still making the decals, but I closed up shop last year because I wanted to spend more time with my family. I would suggest going to your local sign shop (look for a mom-and-pop shop that sells signs and banners). Find one that can give you some creative suggestions and work up some proofs and pricing. I really like the reflective decals since they help a little with safety and look really cool, but those are more expensive than regular vinyl. Sign shops should have all kinds of color charts, so just bring your scoot and helmet in. If they aren’t very helpful with creative ideas, thank them and move on to the next sign shop. Most of them can make suggestions for you. Enjoy your scoot, and good luck finding fun decals to jazz it up!

Your link to the website does not take me to the website, just another search engine.
I’m interested in finding out more info on your decals. What is your website?
    Thanks!

      Hi Connie,

I’m sorry, I thought I had updated all my links but I guess I missed that one. I closed Scooter Prints last year because I just didn’t have time to make the decals anymore. You can find lots of decals available at Etsy.com (do a search for something like vinyl decals, or car decals) or go to a local sign shop. Any place where they sell signs they should also be able to make custom decals, and they usually have clipart you can choose from. The sets I sold were around $15-20 per set to cover the scooter with anywhere from 10 to 30 decals, so that should give you a good idea of price range. Reflective is more expensive, more like $20-40 for a set, but will give you extra safety at night as well as lasting longer on your scooter.

Good luck finding decals, and happy scooting! I’m sorry I couldn’t help you out myself.

    Hi

I know you don’t do the decals anymore. I bought the hibiscus flower decals from you back in 09 and loved them. My scooter now has to be traded in and I would love to have that design on my new one. Is it possible to get the design so I can have reflective stickers made?

    Thanks
    Naomi
