Another Rainforest Painting
Even though the cheap canvases were 30″ x 40″, which is bigger than I usually paint, I just had to have two. I finally decided on the layout and finished up the painting Friday night.
Now I just need to track down a mobile and vacuum the room. And Hubby is working on a changing table. We’re just about ready for the little one to arrive!
If I ever have a kid, you’re decorating its room. ^^

I loved doing it so much I wish I could do that for a living. But unfortunately it would be really hard to make sets like this that match people’s store-bought stuff without infringing on copyright laws.
do you have more pictures of your nursery? !!!! im planning to do something like this also, i also fell in love with fisher prices precious planet AND rainforest theme, but im planning to go more with the rainforest theme i just cant decide i love it all! i will be painting the doors to the closet, theyre the fold out type outside of course and what kind of paint did you use?! i notice you mentioned acrylic, what brand? please email me!

I’m afraid I didn’t take any more pictures of my nursery, and I’m in the process of moving, so I can’t right now. I’ll take pics when we get settled again. I just went to Hobby Lobby and bought the cheapest brand of craft paint they had – I think maybe it was Apple Barrel or something like that. You can’t beat cheap paint. You might want to prime first with something like Kilz if you’re doing doors so the paint will stick better. I’ll email you when I take more pics!
