My Little Pony is 25?!
I couldn’t believe it when I opened my Happy Meal. Inside the usually-worthless little plastic bag which seems to be designed to frustrate kids and parents everywhere, I found this:
Not only that, the Happy Meal bag (what happened to the boxes?) was actually stamped “25th Anniversary.” For a moment I felt old.
Then I just grinned and chowed down on the wonderfully salty French fries, knowing just where I’ll put the pony: on my desk next to Speedy!
In case you can’t tell from the photo, Speedy Gonzales is a Pez dispenser. The coolest Pez dispenser ever.

25? I do not have words to express how depressing that is. Seriously. I think I’ll just go cry in the corner now. Thanks a lot for ruining my day – good thing there’s only another hour of it. Yeesh. Be a little more sensitive next time you run across a childhood icon, will you? I’ll be checking my pony Applejack for wrinkles now…

I hate to break it to you, but the Cabbage Patch Kids are 25 this year too. Was that gentle enough?
